I'm having a bit of trouble - I have somehow got my file association (or
"open with") all screwed up. If I'm in an Outlook message and click a link,
for some bizarre reason the program that opens is my handheld's "add/remove"
dialog. I have no earthly idea what I've done, any ideas???

By the way, I already did all of the "regsver32" happiness with all the
recommended .dll files AND reset my web settings. Still I open my handheld
"add/remove" program.

Grandmoo,

Is that a http:// link? What happens when you double-click a Internet Shortcut (.URL) file in the Desktop?

For XP SP1 and above, use the Set Program Access and Defaults in Add/Remove Programs to repair Internet Explorer associations.

Thanks anyhow, I wound up reformating and reinstalling. A lot of trouble,
but it probably needed done any how.
