IE message box: This page is accessing info that is not under its

We have a web site with both the www and the web address pointing to the same
server IP address and set up in IIs.
On the non www address I receive an error message box that reads:

Internet Explorer
This page is accessing info that is not under its control. This poses a
security risk - Do you want to continue?

I can not find any details concerning this message. It doesn't show up when
I access www.mysite.com it only shows up when I access mysite.com

Any help would be appreciated. I am thinking it has something to do with
recent patches.

This is a warning about cross-site scripting. Microsoft answers this same
question in this Q&A (http://msdn.microsoft.com/msdnmag/issues/02/06/web/ -
see the third question). The best solution is to have your web page and the
XMLHTTPRequest URL in the same domain.
