ie lost mouse focus

I have a consulting client consistently losing his IE mouse focus. He can
not bring the background IE window from behind another window to the
foreground. He has all the security patches except this month's non critical
Active X related IE patches.



Any suggestion what should I check next?

Well, at least I am not alone. This happens on my new lap top too. Only
occasionally and not all IE windows are affected but I have seen two affected
at the same time while a third behaves.
