IE launching very slow.

When launching IE it takes 50 years to open. I have a
fast pc 2.4 and a big hardrive 100gb. Iam running xp pro.

Cookies and files have been deleted

Any ideas?

Once it starts, does everything runs normally? or still
slow? a host of possibilities, one of which is a 'broken'
browser which you can reinstall. More info is needed.
