I've been having the same problem all day. If you get an
answer please email me at (e-mail address removed). Thanks.

I have been experiencing that problem for a week now. I
havenot found anyone with an answer or a solution. I have
attempted to re downlaod IE6 SP1 but I get an error mes
that msxml3.dll error 80072f76 requested header not found.

I would like an answer or a solution also. I don't know if
MS techs read these posts but I hope they do and determine
a solution.

I relaize this does not solve your problem or mine either,
but know you are not alone

I am having serious problems, after trying netscape with my IE. while, instlled, Internet explorer would freeze and crash. I uninstalled netscape, now explorer won't come up. What can I do to get explorer back? I tried to download service patecdh and 6.0 set up, but all I get is a message saying that components are missing. Is there a way to replace. Please let me know, as I can not browse anymore.

Sadly, you can add my name to the list without IE. I am
getting the same message as the others for 3 days now. I
too have tried downloading the new 6 version to no avail.

HELP!

It works!

Thanks Liz and Ramesh!

For ease of reference, here is Ramesh's solution:

To test with: Disable third-party browser extensions in
Internet
Explorer
1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control
Panel.
2. Double-click Internet Options.
3. Click the Advanced tab.
4. Under Browsing, clear the Enable third-party browser
extensions
(requires restart) check box.
5. Restart Internet Explorer.

If this helps, read here for further troubleshooting:
