IE in Vista can't open yahoo messages and youtube videos

hi there recently i encountered a problem with my windows vista laptop my
Internet explorer displayed only a blank message everytime i open the message
in my yahoo account, when i also click on a particular video in youtube the
video cant be displayed. I already set the property of IE back to default
settings all the zone, i disabled the manage add ons still the problem
persist. I installed Firefox and everything is alright.

The clock and calendar image on my wallpaper is also affected i understand
IE is being used on this service. Hope somebody can help me with my problem.

hi there andre thanks for the quick reply......you know what i tried
installing certain plug ins for the IE but the problem is I cant install an
error message will come out stating that "windows installer service cant be
started or accessed. I tried starting it using the services.msc but still i
cant manage to install it.

yap there is an embedded clock and calendar on the desktop wallpaper. before
this one was shown on the desktop now its a blank image.

Could you give us the name of the product that was used to install that
particular type of wallpaper? Have you checked the developer to find out
about Vista compatibility, trouble shooting?

Hi again Andre..... i already tried the link that you gave the other day im
going to try it again. Hope this time this problem will be solved. Regarding
the wallpaper its part of the vista theme. Im sure if the IE will be fix the
wallpaper will work too.

Sorry, but I am not aware of any wallpaper that comes with Vista with an
embedded Clock or Calendar. The Windows Sidebar does include a Calendar and
Clock gadgets though.
