ie icon missing in address bar

can someone help with a niggling problem.the ie icon in the
address bar(the one before the http://)has changed to a
generic or corrupt icon(a square with four dots and one
edge turned down)how do i change it back.everything else
seems to work ok.using winxp pro with sp2 & all available
updates.thanks
