In IE, goto: Tools > Internet Options > General
* Clear History
* Set "Days to keep pages in history" to 0 days
Close IE, then in Explorer (not Internet Explorer), write-protect the history
folder (and sub-folders) in your personal profile (i.e., make them
read-only).
