"IE has encountered a problem and needs to close"

HELP!!! I connect to the net via dialup. Now, on my
laptop, whenever I then try to access anything,like my
yahoo acount, I get the above error message. IE never
comes up and without it, I functionally have no access to
the net. I have Internet Exploreer 6. HELP!!!

Doc? HI I am having the same problem, the message says Internet Explorer encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Send error report/Don't send. Have you received any results? I cannot figure out what to do. Can you help me or guide me in the direction? Thank you russell
