IE hangs when searching with Google Toolbar

Whenever I try sarching using the Google search toolbar
IE6 hangs and even when I try to force a close down it
will not close. I've even tried shuting down the programe
and processes after clicking ctrl+Alt+del but it still
remains. It slows everything down and so the only way I
can get rid of the hanging window is to restart!

This problem is really buggin me now so I would like to
know if anyonw else has experienced this problem or knows
of a fix.

I have IE6 SP1 and it hangs constantly regardless of using
a search toolbar. I found a downloadable exe on the
Microsoft site that I think might address the problem but
whenever I try to download it, I receive a message that I
have to have IE6 installed (go figure). The exe is
q818506.exe --- anyone else have this issue? This hang up
problem is very annoying and frustrating.

Actally, I've also found it irreversibly hangs at
apperently random moments which have nothing to do with
the toolbar also so it looks like we have the same
problem. I tried q818506.exe and got exactly the same
message telling me I needed IE6 SP1, which of course we
have so looks like a bad file.

I'm still looking and if I find a solution I will post.
