IE freezs during delete of temp files

Why does Internet Explorer stops responding when
attempting to delete temp internet files. Does anyone
know why this is happening?
 
2 reasons: you have too many files or you have a
corrupted files. Either manually delete all the files out
of the temp folder or run disk cleanup.
