IE Favorites screwed up

I uninstalled Opera, and manged to repair the associations
back to IE, but the favorites now all show .url at the
end.

Does anyone know how to to turn this off?? Not a biggy,
just a bit annoying...

Obviously Opera has caused a file association problem.
