IE Favorites Limit?

Is there a limit to the amount of favorites that IE6 can handle

We have a user that has around 6Mb of links and folders (containing more folders and links), there are around 1000 links in total. At present the user is encountering problems, by not being able to create new links and or folders

Going in as a different user on the same machine, the problem doesn't exist. This leads me to think that IE may have said .. 'enough is enough' ... does anyone know whether this is the case

Any information would be gratefully accepted.

Perhaps you should introduce your user to Google, before he/she logs the
whole internet as favourites

and please remove the Word group from your cross post as this has no
relevance to Word.

I have had as many as 1800 favorites neatly categorized in folders without
any problems.

Is there a limit to the amount of favorites that IE6 can handle?

Frank Saunders, MS-MVP used to post the suggestion to keep
the number of Favorites per folder down to 190 or they might not sort.
