IE fails to load pages

Hi,

This is a problem only on one system. If I use an IE window to browse moving
from one page to another continuously, it will stop loading pages after 3 or
4 page. instead it will just keep rotating the logo and show progress on the
status bar for a looooooooooong time and says page not found. If I open
another window in the mean time, copy and paste the link here - new window
works fine and this will also repeat the behaviour after 3/4 links.

I am going nuts. If I am using Yahoo or MSN or any other site requiring
logins, I have to login everytime I open a new window (no, I dont want to use
remember option on site or IE). Any help? All patches installed. no SP2.

regards,
kalyan

Meena,

Thanks for the immediate reply. I have 6 BHO's in total.
Acrobat, Desktop Sidebar, Google, Google, Acrobat & IE Rights Management
Add-on

and I had these almost from the beginning. I really do not think this could
be the problem. BTW, Intranet sites do not have ANY problem, only external
sites. I will try it out anyway.

thanks,
Kalyan

Hi Kalyan,

Try the below steps:

1. Click Start, run, type "inetcpl.cpl" (with out quotation marks) and click
OK.
2. Click the Advanced tab.
3. Under Browsing, uncheck the "Enable third-party browser extensions
(requires restart)" check box.
4. Click OK.

PS: Do not restart your computer after performing the above steps.

Once you are done with the above steps, please open a brand new Internet
Explorer and check if the problem is resolved.
