IE Explorer 7 will not connect to a new link

I have a problem with IE 7, I have been trying to re set a password on an
Forum account, they send me an activation key and I keep getting your page
that it cannot connect, check connections and etc- I have even reported this
to them and I am getting no where. I can go to your page and others I log
into with no problems. I am almost ready to give up. running xp pro,
everything up to date-

What "Forum" account ?
 
Perhaps you installed a 3rd party fireware that is causing the issue? Or
perhaps the SSL isn't set right in Internet Explorer Options Advanced.
