IE Explorer 6 causing system probs

What the heck is going on here? Ever since I dl'd the most recent version my system is COMPLETELY unreliable. Constant crashing, and even system reboots at times. I repeat... everything was fine until 6. This is sickening. Today my IE folder tells me that the folder is corrupt and I can't even attempt to reinstall it beacuse the process says ther is problem and it could not complete the installation. Having to use Netscape at this point...

Does anyone ever reply to these posts?
