Hi all,
Has anyone heard of this bogus program iexplore.exe, which takes over the
actual explorer.exe program and uses word documents to export your files etc
onto a remote system.
Also, I deleted the bogus program only to find out my actual explorer file
is also unavailable. It is on the system, but fails to initialize when I
try to go to explorer.
Any help welcome.

um...IExplore.exe is Windows Internet Explorer (a web browser) and Exployer.exe
is Windows Explorer (a file manager and shell program). Any modern Windows
system will have (and need) both. I have no idea what you're talking about
concerning "... uses word documents to export your files...".
