ie disappears

lately, i've been having a problem w/ my ie. i usually use
dialup w/ juno and that works fine, but whenever i click
on the ie icon, it loads the page but as soon as the page
is fully loaded, it disappears. this even happens when i'm
working online.
i pinged my ip and got 4 packets back, so that's fine. i
have downloaded stuff, etc., with my connection, but ie
just doesn't work. if i'm fast enough, sometimes i can
click a link in the ie window and it will go to the link
until the page loads. then, it disappears.
i'd really appreciate any help w/ this problem.
