IE data transfered to excel

I have copied data from a spreadsheet in IE and pasted it in an excel
worksheet.
The data is there but has no value for formatting. If I retype the numbers
in the cells they then have value. Is there a faster way to ring value to
this data?

It sounds like those pesky HTML non-breaking spaces.

David McRitchie has a macro that cleans up this kind of thing.
