IE crashing when opening certain sites

A few days ago IE started crashing when attempting to open certain
sites.....getting the message that "ie has encountered a problem and
needs to close". The failing module is mshtml.dll ver: 5.50.4134.100
and appver: 6.0.2800.1106; offset 000a3ca7. I am running ME and I
tried to download and install IE6, I ran spybot and adaware, and
minimized the use of the google toolbar (only using the blocker) and
the same thing is still happening. Any suggestions???
