Hi,
We have a large number of laptops running IE 6. They are running
on a LAN but are also taken offsite where a dialup connection is used.
We always use the "never dial a connection" option in Connections. We
actually have this specified in the local group policy on our machines
Our problem is that IE will regulary revert to the "Always dial my
default connection". When on the LAN this means our users are unable
to establish an Internet connection and we have to manually set their
config back to "never dial".
My question is why does this keep happening? It seems to be cyclical.
Over the last day we have had a spate of these occurances. It won't
happen again for some time, then all at once it will happen again. I
actually haven't recorded the exact frequency of the pattern but I am
starting this now.
Any info would be appreciated.
