IE Connection Issue

Running IE 6 on Windows XP.

Lose ability to surf. Receive a DNS Error that page is
unavailable. When I click to return to my home page the
I receive the same message. The computer is still
connected to the ISP. It is as if my connection gets
blown away.

I also lose the ability to send and receive Email using
outlook express.

I usually end up rebooting. I have dumped Temp folders,
cookies, run adaware, scanned for viruses.

Ditto exactly for me, Dave. Where's the fix?? Help,
please!
