IE closes automatically,certain web sites.

Only certain web pages close when a link is used to go to another page, also
some web sites saved to my favorites start to open then close before
finished. Any help would be appreciated. Copied this log file here per
instructions from program, and reading some older post related to similar
issues. Thanks, Frank

I had the same problem.
Researching a networking problem led me to my Anti-Virus program hat has a
built-in firewall.
Disabling this cleared the auto closing problem and fixed the networking
problem at the same time.
I had already turned the Windows Firewall off ( I am running XP Pro SP2 ) .
I use Zone alarm and thought that was the only firewall running -- it
wasn't.
