When I was running Windows 2000, the most recently used feature for IE
Favorites worked on the main list and on items within subfolders as
well..... In other words, If I had 20 potential items in my main list, and
only two folders showed up inititially (the MRU ones), and one of those two
had 30 potential items, only a handful of those 30 would show up as well.
Now that I've moved to XP, ALL items in the subfolders show up. It's very
annoying. Some documentation somewhere refers to "folders," as being part
of the "personalized favorites" list. Maybe in XP MRU only applies to
folders, not URLs themselves???? I guess I could go test that, but even if
that's the case, it's a degradation of functionality compared to my
experience before the XP installation.
Can anyone shed light on this?
