IE browser shuts down w/o error

Couple months back, when we go to certain web pages - it
shuts down all IE browser windows(s) without any error.
It does not affect every web page, just a few - like
www.stadiumpizza.com and www.orientaltrading.com. Low
tech web sites that used to work. For unrelated reason,
had to reinstall my OS - it's still a problem.
We have Win XP Home Ed. I changed everything to allow
cookies and all kinds of junk... still a problem. Help!

3 things to check.

Internet Explorer Quits When You Visit a Web Page That Uses an XSL Transform
and Window.name Property

Tools/internet options/advanced/Microsoft VM
....only tick the JIT compiler box and leave the Java boxes un checked
(default)
when running Win 95 IE 5.5, else the browser window closes.
Same thing for IE 6, confirmed.

Rule out parasites.
