IE blinking after blaster worm removal

i removed the Blaster worm from an XP system. after the
removal all networking worked. I could ping all machines
on the local net and all internet sites. My problem is
that now IE 6.0 blinks. it will not start fully. it justs
opens up and starts to blink. any info would be helpfull.

Try using this tool as it would seem as if the virus is not fully removed.
