Hi all. I installed IE Beta 7, and have used it for a bit, and it's okay,
but until it's solid I prefer IE6. Can I reinstall 6, or am I SOL?
Thanks.

Did you read your release notes? They contain instructions for how to
remove IE7 beta. Hint - How do you uninstall any removeable Windows OS
update under XP SP2?

Beta software is beta software! No general support and the "beta" license
should have warned you that a complete re-install may need to be done in
order to remove it.

System Restore?

And that means that Microsoft's non beta software behaves perfectly and
a reinstall should never be needed! Ha, I wish!

The licence agreement to most software usually says "we can mess up your
system"

Yeah, that did it, thanks.
My web mail was not set up to use IE7...yet, and it was a PITA. Guess I'll
wait for official release.

Marc;
Not at all.
Nothing behaves perfectly and no OS Beta or otherwise makes that claim.
But it does mean install at your own risk and do not expect any support.
That is one reason there are KB articles and other support for released
products and generally not for Beta products.
