IE auto-login for my.yahoo.com????

Guest

lately i've noticed that when I go to my.yahoo.com page using IE, my username
is automatically logged in (normally a good thing). However, I am trying to
use a different username but the old one keeps getting logged in.

I have deleted all temp files, removed all cookies, etc. Immediately after
deleting everything, I reboot the cpu. Once it is back up and running, the
first thing I do is open IE and it is back to using the old yahoo
username!!!!!!

Make sure that you do not check the box, "Remember my ID for this computer",
each time you login into Yahoo. If you do check the box, you will need to
logout of yahoo, closing the yahoo page won't automatically do that.

Well aware of the fact that closing IE doesnt log you out of yahoo. My
problem is that after logging out with username A and then deleting all
internet history, cookies, etc, username A will still be logged in after I
reboot

Hi mrmora :)

To clear all passwords:

Tools> Internet Options>Content>Autocomplete.
Click "Clear Passwords" to clear passwords.
6. Click OK to the confirmation.
7. Close all dialog boxes.
The actual information is stored in a protected portion of the registry
under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Protected Storage System
Provider\[SID of the user]\Data. However, a user can't view the information
(although as an administrator, you can change the ACL via regedt32.exe to
have a look).

or.

To clear only one password:

Go to Control Panel>User Accounts>[username]>Manage my network
passwords.
Delete the ID you no longer want

also...

User Security - Network Passwords
http://www.infopeople.org/resources/security/users/passwords.html

Protected Storage PassView
http://www.webattack.com/get/pspv.shtml
lets you delete selected username/password combos.

Hope this helps :)
