IE as encountered a problem and will close
System:-Win 98SE. 1gig RAM, 40gig HD
Had all the updates installed.
Run Spybot, Adaware, & Grisoft AV (all up to date)
Re-formatted & re-installed
Worked OK
Installed updates & the problem reoccurred
Removed IE6 SP1 and it worked normally.
But Outlook wouldn't work (Outlook Express OK)
Deleted Office & Reloaded Office still a problem
Re-installed IE6 SP1
Outlook OK
IE Has same problem

More: Removal tool: http://www.merijn.org/files/cwshredder.zip

If still no joy, then see what the experts have to say about it.

Go to http://www.spywareinfo.com/downloads.php#det
Download "Hijack This!" [freeware] or download direct (below):
http://www.merijn.org/files/hijackthis.zip

If you get a 404 error or Access denied, try:
http://216.180.252.218/~spywareinfo.com/downloads/tools/hijackthis.zip

Unzip the Download file in a NEW FOLDER that you can create before you start
the download.
DO NOT use any of the TEMP folders that are presently in your computer.
Double-click "HijackThis.exe" and Press "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log"
button.
Click: "Save Log" (generates "hijackthis.log")

Next, HijackThis | Config [button] | Misc Tools [button]
Click: Generate StartupList log [button] (generates "startuplist.txt")

Next, go to the below location:

Thanks for the reply, but I can't access any of the links in your e-mail
I have downloaded Hijack This and prepared the files to send, I'm waiting
for my membership to be confirmed manually (I didn't get an e-mail back)
I will try later on

Regards

Dennis
