IE and netscape can't find connection

I have my laptop with a wireless card to connect to my wireless router.
the system says it connected and thet the signal is excellent,
however, IE and netscape can't find it. If I remove the card and use the
ethernet cable it's the same thing.?? My other wireless laptop works
fine as dose the desktop.

Solved it. Simple stupidity.

Same problem: Can access the internet with my Windowsxp laptop or my
Mac via the same router (at the same time) but my XP home addition
desktop won't. The wiz says the connestion is fine and the connection window
says the connection is up but at only 3.2 mbs. Would you share your fix with
me? Thanks
