First things first, is there an IE 7 beta newsgroup? I couldn't find one so
I'm posting here.
Anyway, I played around with the IE 7 beta, and for the most part it worked
well. I support various small clients with Small Business Server 2003. I
did notice that with IE 7, I was unable to access the Remote Web Workplace at
all. The login screen would show up and I could login but then I'd get a
"page cannot be displayed error." Nothing is wrong with the remote sites,
this was an IE 7 beta issue. So, I uninstalled IE 7 beta via the Add /
Remove (after choosing to "show updates" and all seemed back to normal, I
thought. Now I can get into the Remote Web Workplace on my client sites, but
I'm unable to use the "control servers" option. I get the following error
"VB Script: Remote Desktop Disconnected" and it lists 4 things to try, none
of which are valid because this works fine from all my other PCs that never
had the IE 7 beta installed.
