IE 7 Beta 3

David Doucet

I'm considering downloading the IE 7 Beta 3. Has there been any significant
problems or is there a site I may go to for FAQ on this subject. Seems many
times when I've downloaded "new and improved" stuff, I later wish I hadn't!
Thanks, David

Yes, you can expect problems. This is why it's called "Beta".

Though it's a beta, I will say I've encountered no problems with IE7 beta 3.
If ever there were a user-friendly public beta, this would be it.

Nothing significant so far.

The only "feature" that I've noticed is that the Taskbar icon showing my
broadband connection speed sometimes (about a third of the times I boot the
PC) disappears from view. (Its not moved to the Hidden Icons, just not
there)

Only "problem" I encountered was that I could only get it to install while
my computer was in "Safe Mode". Other than that, it's working like a charm
so far. Really like that I can rearrange tabs by dragging them now!

Did the Author of said application say the program was finished AND
ready to use?

Are you a BETA tester?

*Anything* BETA from MS will provide you with the "I later wish I
hadn't" sensation.

If you're looking to have in final form what MS is trying to do with IE,
get Firefox at www.mozilla.org/firefox
