IE 7.0.6000.16448 does not save favourite web sites

Hi,

IE is not saving any of the web sites that I wish to add to
favourites. There is no warning that the link isn't saved it just
doesn't appear in the dropdown list or the folder.

Any ideas on what might be the problem please?

Odd. There's always the Internet Explorer reset button on

(Alt key) > Tools > Internet Options > Advanced

I tried that but unfortunately the problem persists

Have you changed where you wish to save "Favorites?"

When I did so on a dual-boot XP/Vista system, I had some problems until I
fully understood how junctions work.

That's all I can think of.
