IE 6.x and MapQuest

I have two users who are unable to view maps from the MapQuest site. They
get the directions, etc but no image file, no red X, etc. They are using IE
6, SP1, with all patches applied on XP Pro machines that also include full
versions of Office 2003 (also fully patched).

In watching the page load, the status bar "hangs" when it has one item left
to download. In both cases the users have local administrator rights on their
machines. (yes, I know.... :^) )

I have tried disabling the Windows firewall, and there is nothing on our
network that would block this image file.

ANY help is greatly appreciated

Hi,
The Temporary Internet Files have been cleared, right? (Always a good first
step.)

Is Javascript enabled and working for other sites?

Internet Options> Privacy, are cookies being accepted from all sites listed
in the Privacy Report? Go to Mapquest, then IE> View> Privacy report.

Is a HOSTS file blocking content from doubleclick, atwola, or other URLs in
the Privacy Report? That could cause a hangup. Or, (vice- versa) blocking
atwola, doubleclick, etc with a HOSTS file might eliminate the hangup. Try
both options.

Hope this helps,
Don
