IE-6 Won't close.

I cannot close IE unless I Control+Alt+Delete into
Taskmanager and tell it to End Task. Then I have to wait
for it to say it is not Responding and click End Task on
the pop up box. I tried to delete IE6 and it said it was
converting back to a lower version but it did nothing.
Please Help!

This is probably being caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware,
parasite)

Work through the solutions (CWShredder, Ad-aware, Spybot) at

If not caused by malware, consider disabling (for diagnostic purposes)
legitimate programs running in the background which might be interacting
with IE- security, antivirus, ad-blockers, toolbars & other add-ons, etc.
You may have to uninstall then reinstall, or not reinstall, a program.
