IE 6 VS Win 98

I am running Win 98 and IE6, not a good combination.
I want to remove IE6 and INstall 5.
When I go to Add/Remove programs and select IE6 I do not get an option to
remove or an option to go back to previous edition of IE.
How can I remove IE6....

Why on earth would you want to go back to IE5.0?
Why is Win98+IE6 not a good combination?
I have used it for years with no thought about going back, though I
could, as the option is there in Add/Remove for me.
