I'm having problems watching video and supect it's a setting or two can
anyone point me in the right direction? Something seems to be blocking them
(ie yahoo! movies, etc.) and I can't seem to figure it out. Win XP Pro, SP2.
Pop up blockers on or off it does not seem to matter the video won't load.
I get a blank screen or a "buffering" that never ends. Any guidance would be
appreciated. Thanks.

Sometimes the format is incompatible even though the file extension is one
that Windows usually excepts and plays normally. The person who created the
file may have used an odd codec or a codec that you do not have, and maybe
even renamed the file over to confuse or to make available in that file
extension format. If you are trying to view a movie from a trusted movie
library course, then you may wish to simply re-install Windows Media Player
or Real Player, whichever media viewer you are using. If you are running
Media player 10, there are some bugs with it, and it is reccomnded that you
revert back to Media Player 9 in the meantime.

I'm talking about vidoes that play within the browser. They play fine using
Firefox and don't play at all using IE so it can't be a codec issue nor a
player issue (I would think) since it plays fine using the other browser.
