IE 6 very slow...

Hi,

My IE 6 starts up a new window very slow. Everything else is up to speed.
Once a window is open, it opens a new site with normal speed....
So just a new windows is very slow.
Anybody know what this is?

You should use Disk CleanUp regularly to Empty your Recycle Bin and
Remove Temporary Internet Files. Select Start, All Programs,
Accessories, System Tools, Disk CleanUp. Also whilst in Disk CleanUp
select More Options, System Restore and remove all but the latest
System Restore points. If you use Outlook Express select File, Work
Offline followed by File, Folder, Compact All. Whenever you remove
redundant files you should always run Disk Defragmenter by selecting
Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Defragmenter.

The routine above does not remove all unnecessary clutter from your
hard disk, especially if there is more than one user Logon.

Also in Internet Explorer select Tools, Internet Options, scroll down
the Settings and under Security locate Empty Temporary Internet Files
folder when browser is closed. Check the box before and click on OK.
