ie 6 unusual homepage problem

i'm running IE6 in windows XP, and for quite some time
when i open IE it loads to an aladdin systems
registration page. i have changed the setting in
internet options, ran both spybot and ad-aware, as well
as browser hijacker blaster. i have also scoped out the
registry settings, but these appeared ok. my problem is
that, unlike a spyware issue, i can change the homepage
and it stays as what i want in internet options. it just
doesn't load my homepage, it loads what i mentioned
above. if i click the "home" button in IE, it will load
my preferred homepage no problem. any ideas on what's
going on??? this problem is driving me nuts.

Hallo I am getting a similar problem when I click on my ie
icon on my desktop to open, it tries to open and then
stops, if I cick on the icon properties My home page has
changed to a small square outline and if I go to use blank
as home page click on apply by the time I have closed and
reoppend properties it has changed back again if I use
alink to oen my IE6 browser no problem then I look in
internet options and my home page looks like
this ???????????????????.
Can you please advise what is causing this.
