IE 6 Tried to upgrade (Service pack 1) and was rejected

Hi

Can anyone here help ?? My IE 6 gave me a message that
it needed to upgrade to include a service pack ... I
downloaded it and tried to install it , but it failed
with the message..." The software you are trying to load
has not passed the windows logo testing to verify its
compatibility with Windows XP" ....WHY ?? WHEN THEY ARE
BOTH FROM MSN ????

Is this a bug ?, am I doing something wrong ?? or is
this a malicious virus ?

Please advise (the install gets past the downloading
components and continues to install them ??? go figure?

dude that's because the windows u have on ur computer is
pirated, u prolly got it from kazaa didnt u??
well go back to kazaa and get a fix for that, they have it
later

I'm having the exact same problem. It won't let me
install the service pack at all.
