IE 6 SP1 window does not display

Only the title bar shows when IE is started. If I
maximize the screen, then the screen is diplayed.
 
You are probably in Full screen mode. Press F11 to return to normal mode.
This key will toggle between ON and OFF.

That title bar is actually a small window. Grab its edges with the mouse
cursor and drag it larger. Make sure it is the last IE window closed and
Windows should remember that.
