IE 6 shutsdown when clicking on a web link

Hey Gang !
Is anyone having trouble with IE6 SVCPK 1 when clicking
on a weblink ? I noticed a article in KnowBase that says
it is a problem and the work around is switch to classic
view. I tried that and still doesnt work. The strange
thing is it is with spacific sites. Others work fine. I
have disable internet security and Anti Virus i even
reloaded office and IE no luck.

Any ideas??? Thanks

Tools/internet options/advanced/Microsoft VM
....only tick the JIT compiler box and leave the Java boxes un checked
(default)

IE 6.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the malware is.

web links thru Outlook 2003 - get following tech info

what does all this mean? how do i fix this?

I have read your other messages and have made the changes
as suggested.

2nd issue: ever since i uploaded the latest MS security
patch, my computer speed has slowed to a crawl - major
delay in seeing letters as i type on screen, or even
switch to other apps. any thoughts on how to fix this?

ModName: unknown, or hung.app would indicate that you have some parasites.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.

Let AD-Aware Scan your system for advertising Spyware

More: This may be still be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware,
parasite).
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
