IE 6 search message

Out of the blue seamingly, I suddenly get an error message when I click on
the search icon, on the IE 6 icon bar. It has never done this before. I
always get a split screen and in the left hand split a place to type in a
search word. Now I get this message:

HTTP Error 403 - Forbidden
Internet Explorer

I have no idea what happened, I'm the only person who uses my Windows XP
system. I am so called system administrator and I don't have a network. I
simply have a Dell computer and I'm using IE 6.0.2800.1106 xpsp
2.030422-1633 on an Windows XP home edition.

How can I fix this?
I've already tried " System Restore (to the previous day), and resetting all
my IE settings to "default". I also rebooted my system. Nothing has worked.

Thank you for your help

In spite of having:
Spy bot
AdsGone
Norton Antivirus
Zone Alarm
Pest Patrole
all running it didn't help.

It appears I still got a Trojan. Unreal!!! So I took the recommendation from
Mac. I down loaded the ZIP file and ran it and everything now works. The
little program is called CWShredder identified two trojen files and safely
removed them!!!! Here is the Web site,
