HTTP Error 403 (Forbidden)

I get the following error msg from IE when I try to access www.microsoft.com,
but this works fine when uing my AOL browser. Can anyone help me with this?

Try the following and see if it helps:

IE won't connect using AOL

SHDOCLC.DLL

Open Internet Explorer >Tools>Internet Options>Advanced tab
Uncheck "Show Friendly HTTP errors" check box
Click OK

This can also occur if the date setting on your computer is incorrect. Check
your machine time with General time and be sure it is correct. If not, then
reset it as follows:



Quit all running programs.
2. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
3. In Control Panel, double-click Date/Time.
4. In the Date/Time Properties dialog box, select the current date and time,
click Apply, and then click OK.
