The main computer on our houselold network will not
connect to the web. Outlook Express works fine, but since
someone downloaded AOL, played Monopoly, and possibly
loaded Virtual Bouncer without realizing it, nothing
happens when clicking to open IE except the message "Page
Cannot Be Displayed".

Any suggestions?

First thing I would do is remove all the apps you think
have been installed and try it again. Up to and including
the latest version of AOL, it will take controll of any
connection other than broadband or a network connection.
If you use anytime of connection on demand the dialer for
AOL has probably changed the connection status to do not
use.
This is in the Tools Internet Options connections tabs.
Hope this helps'
