IE 6 Hangs- at least I'm not alone

Same thing, started a few days ago. I use Win 98 SE,
cable modem. Tried un/reinstall Norton Systemworks &
Personal Firewall, defrag 2-3 times, Roxio GoBack (though
I don't know what happened to my safe points- after using
it all earlier dates disappeared from list...?).

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.
