IE 6 Favorites - How to Sort Folders?

R

Richard

When I create a new favorite folder and then store the
address in the folder the folder drops to the bottom of
the favorites list, not in alphbetical order. I have to
click on the new folder and drag it up to the correct
place, alphabetically, and then let go.

I was doing some work with folders one day and all of a
sudden all of the folders jumped to their correct
alphabetic location. I do not know what I did, please
help me understand how to quickly sort folders
alphbetically.
Thankyou, Richard

Sort folders in the same way that favorites are sorted as below:

Use the menu option Favorites and when a favorite flies out,
rightclick on it and select "Sort by name"
Don't use the Favorites panel. It must be the menu option or you may
also do it from Start-Favorites

What do you mean by "when the favorite flies out"? I went
to the menu option as you said, then to Organise
Favorites, but did not see any sort option. I must be in
the wrong place.

You are in the wrong place. You don't use Organize Favorites.
When you click the menu option Favorites, the favorites appear below
the line. Rightclick one when it appears (or flies out) and you will
see the option.
