IE 6 can not display secured web pages after XP box joints domain

OS: XP SP1

Problem: IE 6 can display secured web pages
(https://...) when XP box was in workgroup;
It will not display same page after joint windows 2000
domain;
The XP box was brought back to workgroup, but IE 6 still
will not display same secured page.

If TSL 1.0 was selected under Advanced setting in IE 6,
it will display the page but all links to secured pages
will not work.

Any of your help will be greatly appreciated.
