IE 6 browser problems

I use IE6 in WinXP. When I'm surfing the browser windows
close down, inevitably triggering the error reporting
system. I've tried reinstalling IE6, but this seems not
to have recitifed the problem. My system is clear of any
viruses (inc the Sasser)

Any ideas?

This could be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware, parasite).
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
