IE keep closing

hi all,

need some help here.
everytime I open the IE6 browser, it will close after
about4-5 sec. Every single time. don't know what's
happening. No virus has been detected yet. Need help!! this
is irritating!I am using WinXp SP1 IE 6 SP2. I tried to
reinstalled IE6 but it said "setup has detected a newer
version of I.E already installed on this system.Setup
cannot continue. Please advise how to solve this problem.
Can it reinstalled I.E?

Me too ..it's maddening. I've found right clicking and 'open in a new
window' usually works until they get it fixed. Please let me know if you see
a real fix.

Same damn problem here Henry. Regedit repair resulted in
the same error .Very annoying.
